Have you ever stopped along the way to recognize answered prayers?

We spend days, weeks, even years pleading for answers to our more desperate prayers. When we get them, we act indifferent, as if it is nothing SHORT OF A MIRACLE!!!!

I feel a profound responsibility to share that I am currently living in my answered prayers. I am experiencing what years of asking, pleading, crying, praying over, and getting answered feels like.

I remember thinking about my mom and how she was not able to see her prayers answered in life. Though she was no longer with us, those left behind witnessed her prayers being answered.

My takeaway from that moment is to never give up, never stop praying, and never stop believing. For when we are long gone, those things we labored over in our prayers will come to pass.

Not too long ago, I was in the midst of my pain and disappointment, wondering if I would be alive to witness the answer to my gut-wrenching prayers. (I know- it’s dramatic, but that’s who I am:)

Well, I believe God saw it fit for me to witness the reality of answered prayers, and for that, I am incredibly thankful.

It is not the first time I have lived and witnessed my prayers answered. Not because I have some special powers (maybe I do (wink, wink) but because God and the circumstances knew I was ready.

I have had many prayers that have gone unanswered, but because I am a living witness to the experience of “answered prayers,” I live with confidence in time and eternity.

If you have been praying for something for years, keep praying. It’s an act of faith.

It’s incredible how we determine what an “unanswered prayer” means. There are so many “cliches” in which people mask their disappointment: “It’s not meant to be,” “I was being protected,” “not my calling.”

We give excuses because we are impatient.

A prayer is an exercise in faith. We believe that the God we believe in is listening to our heart’s cries. As long as what we are praying for is not detrimental to ourselves or anyone and will cause no harm, it is a prayer that God is working out for us.

We just need to wait our turn.

I never gave up. I will never give up. I simply pray.

Yes So True! Thanks I needed the encouragement – I have learned thet “Gods ways are not my ways nor His thoughts my thoughts…” we have to stand firm and know God answers His way in His time – I’m reminded of Hebrews 11 the Hall of Faithfuls, some never saw but like you said the ripple effect did come in its right time. Thank You for sharing blessings.
