I struggle with words this week for personal reasons and the current Israel situation. I feel as if what’s the point of making my point if the world is in crisis. I don’t ever want to be so insular that I am not aware of the brokenness of this world.
So, as I fumble with words this week. I urge everyone to please take some time and pray for Israel and the innocent folks in Palestine. I am not a scholar in international relations or a biblical scholar to parse the importance of the protection of Israel, so spare me the rhetoric.
Life is complicated on many fronts, so…show up, be present, talk to one another, get to know your neighbor, be kind, and be the reason someone smiles.
That’s all for now.
Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that is not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”
Romans 12:17-19 (Message Translation)
